Error: Microsoft SQL Client Driver 10 Not Installed

During the configuration of the enterprise server in a Gateway, I select Microsoft SQL Server as our database and I get this error:

"Microsoft SQL Client Driver 10 Not Installed"

Has anyone gotten around this?  It won't let me proceed.
