Compensation Review Workbench vs. Business Unit Security

Can anyone answer this question?

My understanding is that the Compensation Review Workbench (CRW) program when used in the Self-Service context is solely driven by the F05840 Employee/Supervisor relationship and NOT by the Business Unit Security.

I have no problem with CRW interactive programs themselves (P088*) but my question relates to any interactive program those calling programs could invoke when using form exits for instance. The two interactive programs I specifically refer to are P060116 and P050421, which are called from within CRW programs P08812 or orher CRW P0881* programs. I have performed the XREF utility for those two programs and the first one is called by 8 interactive programs while the second one is called by 22 interactive programs.
