How to change person type from contingent to employee?

We are using EBS version 12.1.3

One of the employee has change the status from contract to employee. How can I modify the person type of the existing employee record from contingent worker to employee?

Also, when an employee is terminated, I know how to end date their login account, but I don't know how to terminate their employee status.

Could someone please advise? Gurus? Thank you very much.
