May I create a template which can have the changeable ruled line just likes Excel　in EBS 11i 's XML

Hi
I use the XML Publisher with EBS 11i
May I create a template which can have the changeable ruled line just likes Excel.
I know 11i can not use Excel to be the template, but R12 can.
