Event_id and Entity_id

 Hi can anybody help me in explaning the relation ship between EVENT_ID and ENTITY_ID in XLA_EVENTS table . i have seen for multiple event we have same entitty id . we are creating events from back end using XLA_EVENT_PUB API . but wanted to know why for some event there is one to one mapping but for some multiple events are tied up with single transaction entity
