Install, Upgrade, Clone, Patch - EBS (MOSC)

unable to apply patch 14614795

While trying to apply patch 14614795, I get the following error.

The patch directory 14614795 doesn't match the patch id.

After some research, I updated  14614795/etc/config/inventory and replaced

<patch_id number="14614795"/>

with

 <reference_id number="14614795"/>

Then, the patch failed looking for pre-req patch 9593176.

I applied patch 9593176 and now get the following error when applying 14614795.

Inventory is good and does not have any dangling patches.


Updating inventory...
OPATCH_JAVA_ERROR  : UpdateInventory got errors calling update inventory, oracle.sysman.oii.oiii.OiiiOneoffException: File /remote/app/applmgr/oa12/apps/tech_st/10.1.2/forms/java/frmall.jar is already patched by 9593176.
Files on system are patched but Inventory Update has failed.  Please run 'opatch lsinventory' to check if the patch has been recorded in Inventory.
