PO revision - Approval

Hello Friends

Can you please clarify on the approvals for revisions. Does the revision to a PO tiggers approval?

What changes to the PO creates a revision? Do I need to check Change order tolerance setup? If yes there is no description field in that but when I update the description it goes for revisiion

We are in R12.1.2 and use employee supervisor hierarchy
