upgrade from Windows 64 -Standard Edition(64) 10.2.0.5 --> TO Linux64 Standard Edition(64) RAC 1
Have any one done.Planned to do via RMAN from Win (64) SE (filesystem) to Linux (64) SE RAC (pre installed 11.2.0.3.7 GRID+ASM + Oracle empty database),
so that first create to target a Single instance using RMAn scripts (target prepared for database file relocation ) and then by GUI via template to RAC instances.
Endian is ok.
Platforms are not allowing RMAN duplicate.
Have someone info (done once ) if from WIN a RMAN backup is possible with RMAN convert or without convert (and no need after that for upgrade script on target??) to Linux single instance
Using CONVERT DATABASE ON TARGET PLATFORM rman option on Windows side??
