Givving access to istore for current appllication users or organisation contacts

Hi ,

I want to give istore access to current applciation users  or organisation contacts but it is not working out in R12.

I triyed below

How To Convert An Existing Application User To An iStore User (Doc ID 1198624.1)

But it was not sucessfull

Please provide some detailed process to provide istore access to present application users.

Iand i want to know what is the functionality of

Need online access to your existing corporate account?' from Isore

Navigation:open istore url-->register

Does it will helpfull for me to use this to provide access.
