Parse Exception Error in RTF

In our log we are seeing :

oracle.apps.xdo.template.eft.func.ParseException: Encountered "<EOF>" at line 1, column 18.
Was expecting one of:
    "AND" ...
    "OR" ...
    "THEN" ...
    "+" ...
    "-" ...
    "||" ...
    "*" ...
    " div " ...
    "**" ...

It is not casuing the process to fail,but it is filing up our logs with exception methods.  Can anybody tell me what they are referring with column 18?  Would that be a cell on my RTF template?

We are using 10.1.3.4.2
