R12.1.1 : AutoPatch error when running the R12.1.1 American English upgrade patch driver u6678700.d

Hi,

When trying to run the patch driver u6678700.drv using AutoPatch the following error is produced:

"You must apply a Release 12 New Products Patch before applying a Release 12 Maintenance Pack."

The database server upon which the patch driver is run has a shared file system with an application server. The database server acts as the primary applications node.
