how to add Product Context to capture Item Quantity

Hi,

Can I capture 2 Products like as Item Categories to keep Item Quantites to calculate Discount for an item.  Or recommend where is sample or document of this events to support client requirement.  Firstly, I think I can do as this requirement by adding the items to Product Context for doing this evidence.
