Custom iPayment ID for order

We are currently working on a new process which created an order using the OE_ORDER_PUB api which in turn makes an iPayment Authorization. By default, the tangibleID (which is like iPayment ID) is set a 6 digit number followed by ONT (ex : 921939ONT) , this is the same number that shows up in Credit Card Bank as well. 
Does any one know how to customize this without modifying any base packages (like XXX-9999-99999 format) ?
