One Delivery detail line split into multiple delivery detail lines

Dear Friends,

We have a scenario where a single delivery detail line is split into multiple delivery detail lines.

I remember reading a metalink note saying that if we are picking from different subinventory every time, then the split can happen.

But in my case, the subinventory is same for all picks.

Could you please let me know under which conditions this might happen?
