How to setup the Invoice Transaction Flexfield

Hi
I'm trying to get information interfaced between Order Management Sales Orders and Receivables Invoices. I need to enter additional information at the sales order header and these to be interfaced through the autoinvoice program to the invoice header in AR. I saw that the Transaction Flexfield brings pre-defined information but, is there an attribute I can use to enter user information?
