EBS R12 - Create a new asset book

 Hi everyone!
When the FA module was implemented for a client, the responsible user of Assets uploaded incorrect information for the most of the assets (incorrect categories, original cost, etc), and now we need to correct all..
Is it possible to create a new asset book and upload the correct information instead of correct all assets in the current assets book? Which are the advantages/disadvantages to create a new asset book?
