Create Notes on Item Instance Notes in Oracle Install Base using API

Hi all,

I have a requirement to upload Notes on Item Instance Notes in Oracle Install Base. Please let me know if the API csi_item_instance_pub.update_item_instancecan be used. If yes, What parameters have to be passed to the API. I have to upload the note,user_id and the text type for a particular instance.
