RAC ASM Question regarding local storage

Hi community...I am trying to figure out of I can do something...

I have two physical hosts with local storage and a shortage of SAN/Shared Storage.  I have ASM configured for the Databases/Grid on the shared storage and its running well.  I would like to mount some of the local storage from both hosts to be available in ASM.  In ASM, I would like to mirror the storage.  Can this be done?  I've attached a diagram...
