Compatible parameter

 I have just completed an upgrade from 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.3.  I have compatible set to 10.2.0.4 and  optimizer_features_enable set to 11.2.0.3.  The system is performing satisfactorily after tuning a few queries. I want to move ahead and set compatible to 11.2.0.3. What can I expect in the way of performance changes. Does this change optimizer behavior?
