Hi Gurus,
I have 11203 RAC db and planning on setting up 11203 RAC physical standy, currently our archivelog backup jobs kicks in every few hours and delete them once backed up.Does by default RMAN does not delete the archivelogs if not applied or only after we setup the deletion policy?
1)if i have this command "BACKUP ARCHIVELOG ALL DELETE INPUT" does it delete the archivelog without deletion policy in dataguard environment if its is not yet applied?
2)If i have deletion policy set up "CONFIGURE ARCHIVELOG DELETION POLICY TO APPLIED ON STANDBY;" is this only for automatic deletion of archivelog files from FRA?
