US PAY: Processing Negative Earnings for Imputed Earnings

Does Oracle Payroll allow -ve earnings for Imputed Earnings Element?I looked at the formula Standard Formula created by Imputed Earnings element and it seems like it does not allow -ve earnings to be processed.

We are using Imputed Earnings Special input element -> Additional Amount with -ve amount and the payroll result is 0.00
Pls let me know if this is expected behavior or not.

And if this is expected, how to process -ve earnings? Pls let me know.
