Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Hi,

in order to enable volume shadowing by vRanger I have installed Oracle VSS writer 11g on a server running oracle 10g database as per article 580558.1

I'm just wondering should I have the service "Startup Type" to auto or manual?
