Query re 8.1.1.4 SEA to 8.1.1.11 SIA (via SIA 8.1.1.10)

Hi

have successfully upgraded from 8.1.1.4 SEA to 8.1.1.10 SIA. However there are some issues at 8.1.1.10 that make us not want to go live with it (15920451 and I'm having some Open UI Issues)

Is the following path legitimate  (to avoid having to do two full business/system regression tests - ie upgrade Prod to 8.1.1.10 SIA, then patch Prod to 8.1.1.11 SIA)

- Install 'New' Production at direct 8.1.1.11 SIA

- Upgrade the 'Existing' 8.1.1.4 SEA Production Upgrade by cloning the 'Existing production' database to the previously development upgraded test system (which is at 8.1.1.10 SIA)and applying the 8.1.1.10 Prod Upgrade(using files from 8.1.1.10 SIA dev upgrade), and the taking the (8.1.110 SIA) Repository direct from this to 'New Production'.  'New Production' can then be business/system tested and signed off
