ODA with RAC and DG

 hi,
we are using ODA (2.5) with 2 node 11gR2 RAC and we are in the process of setting up the standby RAC in the other ODA (2.5) box.

my concerns are regarding configuring FSFO in a ODA box. I have configured FSFO in the past for standalone servers and whenever failover happens due to server crash etc, we just used to bring up the server and startup mount the old primary database and broker would take care of the rest and we would then simply do a switchover to reverse roles.

Now since ODA is completely engineered, lets say the Primary ODA box crashes and failover happens, what will happen when we try to bring up the old primary ODA box, will the startup sequence try to do a startup (open) of the old primary database ? or will it detect failover has happened and do a startup mount instead ??

Howdy, Stranger!
