can I recreate redundancy disk in asm with a raw disk copy and kfed
Hello,
I have to make a database migration from one system to another one.
The size is several hundred of Go under ASM with normal redundancy.
I would avoid to move twice the data size over the network for performance reason.
Is it possible to move only one set of asm disks and then to recreate the redundancy on the destination ?
Either with empty disks to the second failure group and then allowing ASM to rebuild ?
Either with duplicating disks and then modifying the headers with the kfed utillity ?
I have no access to the primary system.
I'll only get the disks contents delivered on the new system as a full raw copy.
