Disk Replacement for Non-mirrored Root Pool
We have a server with a disk that has started to have problems. It is not serious enough to cause pool errors, yet, but we were hoping to take care of it now. The current configuration is there are 4 disks - 1 for a non-mirrored root/global zone pool and 3 for a raidz pool. The failing disk is the root pool. We were thinking that maybe we could temporarily detach one of the disks from the raid, use it to create a mirror for the root pool, then unmirror the mirror and detach the bad disk, replace the bad
