Hi All,
I have upgraded a database from 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.3 but some functionality using UTL_SMTP has stopped working. Now checking, i found that i need to install XMLDB in 11.2.0.3.
Now, note "Master Note for Oracle XML Database (XDB) Install / Deinstall (Doc ID 1292089.1)" does not say anything for fresh installation of XMLDB.
It only takls about reloading of XMLDB, remove & re-install of XMLDB. WHat about a fresh installation on a database where XMLDB has never been installed ?
Below is output from my database registry which is just upgraded to 11.2.0.3 and OS is AIX 7
