OS provisioning a brownfield LDOM

Hi all,
I was told some time ago from someone in Oracle that provisioning a brownfield LDOM from OC 12cR1 U4 was doable. However, trying to do so fails and I get this message in the cacao log:

FINEST: thr#265565:"update-job-pool-thread-64" event message: Netboot failed due to general error NETWORK_1 Boot Device type not supported

So, my question is again: is OS provisioning really doable for brownfield LDOMs using 12c R1 U4 ?
