Pick release using API

Hi All,
We are currently using wsh_picking_batches_pub.create_batch to release lines in an order. We have noticed that even after passing item id value in the paramters the api does not release multiple lines. In our scenario we have created an order with more than one line. But only one line is moved to the staging. Any suggestions pls?
