JDE User Password restrictions

   We want to set up some restrictions to the users when changing their password.   There is an option called User Profiles - Global Password Policy -  If I make changes to that option,  does it force all users to change their passwords next time they sign in or does it wait until their password is due.   The things that are on that screen are

Minimum Password Length

Minimum Number of Numerics

Minimum Consecutive Characters

Minimum Number of Characters

Minimum Number of Special Characters

 We were thinkig of making them use numbers and maybe one special character.   Also,  does anyone know exactly what special characters that this would require?
