Task Flexfields "Task references additional information"

We are using Sales Online 11.5.10, and want to enable flexfields on Tasks --> References. We are assuming "Task references additional information" flexfield is the correct one. Even after enabling two attributes the flexfields are not showing on the screen. Any help with alternative options will be much appreciated. Thanks.
