number(17) versus timestamp size

HelloIs there a formula that I can use to calculate a size of a timestamp column?  I did some search and it looks like it can vary from 7 to 11 bytes depending on the presicion. Does anyone know how to calculate the size exactly based on presicion? I'm trying to see which column will be wider - a number(17) or a timestamp. This is version 11.20.3
