RDBMS as a Identity Store

 hi all,
Can I use sqlauthenticator instead of using ldap authenticator in webcenter11g? I know it's possible for wls and webcenter is build up on wls, my question is whether it's ok for webcenter? 

Or change to another way, does webcenter only support ldap as identity store?
