Service item but non-catalog

I am using release 12.1.3

I have a question, maybe someone can help me.

I need to buy an item using iprocurement. The item is created in inventory as a normal item with its UOM and all the attributes.

I need that the item be a service, so when i create the requisition, the line created looks like a Service by amount (noncatalog) line, with the quantity field available and a fix unit price of 1.

But it has to be a catalog item, not a non catalog. I can't use the non-catalgo feature of iproc.

Is that possible?

Can I create an item in master inventory to be like a non-catalgo item but being a catalog?
