Accounts receivable trend analysis

Hello,

I'm trying to create a report  for Accounts receivable trend over the years. The data is from AR_Payment schedules, however when a receivable is paid for the transaction balance changes to zero, how can we get the data for the past months and year - that table only shows the current snapshot of information.

I want to be able to get data for lets say

Jan'13 - AR trans amount , AR balance due

Feb'13 -  AR trans amount, AR balance due  and so on.

Please advise.
