How to Display Veteran Status in Personal Information

Witihin Employee Self-Service how is it possible to dispaly the veteran status in personal information?The goal is to allow employees to be able to update their disability and veterans status using Employee Self-Service (web).

I have tried the directions in the listed (Doc ID 756221.1) with no luck.
