Demantra Engine: Engine Server Goes Down When any Engine Start Command is Issued

 We are running Demantra 7.3.1. The engine has been installed and the ENGINESTARTER command been given.  The status URL returns a 0 (zero).  However, when I attempt to run the start batch or simulation engine command, the server crashes.   Has anyone experienced this problem?
