Is there any standard functionality exist for sending notification to Salesrep at the time of renew

Hi 

 We are on 11.5.10. I would like to know is there any standard functionality exist for sending notification to Salesrep at the time of renewal. Our business wants renewal contract to be created in Entered status and once salesrep change the order after negotiating with customer the status should be get changed to signed or active. Please let me know the steps to achive this functionality.
