Internal sales orders and installed date functionality

 We have a scenario where ISO is created to transfer products from one operating unit to another (virtual) before a second sales order shows shipment to the end customer. The product is physically shipped directly to the end customer .
The question I have is what will be the installed date populated with during the internal sales order shipment ?    Since it is not really installed at customer site and is an ISO, does the installed base still update the installed date field with the shipment date ?

Will the installed date get updated when the second order created to show the shipment to end customer is fulfilled. ?
