Oracle Forms and Reports 10.1.2.0.2

Hello,

I'm new to using Oracle Support Community.  I'm hoping you may be able to help guide me.  One of our issues is java 1.6 needs to be replaced with 1.7 but Forms and Reports will not run with 1.7 on our version.  Not to mention this version is desupported.  We need to upgrade, my question is to what version?  At 1st glance it looks like 11gR2. 

The person that set this up and maintained Forms and Reports no longer works here, and I have never used Oracle Forms and Reports before.  Our current version is 10.1.2.0.2 which looks like it runs on Oracle Application Server now; did ORACLE AS get replaced by Oracle Middleware?  I'm looking for guidance on what would be the recommended training to take for folks in this situation.  Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
