Tracking comments for AP Aging

Is there a way to add and exchange comments related to AP aged liabilties? The only comments I am aware of is the general Comments hyperlink on the voucher page. There is also a comments page on the Vendor Pages. We want to track comments for Aging in AP. Currently we customized our payable process so that comment exchanges were done in A/R since A/R has a good comment functionality. Is there anything like that in the A/P side? Maybe a workflow that we are not using or haven't purchased? Many thanks!
