Unable to complete transaction due to GL date is not an open or future-enterable period

Hi,
Im trying to create an invoice in the Transactions table. When I have entered the data and click on Complete. An error message shows "APP-AR-11203: GL date, 2013-09-10 is not an open or future-enterable period".

In GL, open/close periods I can see that the period for September 2013 are open, what could be the problem here?
