Hi all, we have a customer, whi has a ZFS 7420 array, where she has created shares that are mounted and update from windows systems, and she bought an x3-2l system with solaris x86 and SL150 library, because he needs to backuo the information using Oracle Secure Backup to backup the windows information, then I have a doubt how to show the zfs information to x86 server.
According the ZFS docummentation it mention to use NDMP protocol, and even there is a lot of information whit this option,

but I have a doubt if will be possible to share the "shares" to X86 systems by fiber channel, or if is possible to mount the shares as FS into x86, and if it could be an option? or if  the only way to backup the information is using  NDMP protocol?

Howdy, Stranger!
