Installing rac 11gr2 - asmlib question

We are installing asmlib with a 11gr2 installation. 

we are wondering if the following is accurate for the group.  in our lab install we had to change the group from asmadmin to asmdba to get the cluster up and running...

#/etc/init.d/oracleasm configureConfiguring the Oracle ASM library driver.This will configure the on-boot properties of the Oracle ASM library driver.
