Abel to ship confirm at delivery level but error is coming if doing ship confirm at trip level

We are using R12.1.3 and i can find that i am able to ship confirm at delivery level but i am not able to do ship confirm at trip level.

I have the super user role which allows to do ship confirm both at delivery and trip level.

The error message i get is 'Error: A valid document category does not exist." but same document category is valid for shp confirming while delivery as well and i can see that while doing ship confirm at delivery this message also comes buta s a warning and not as an error and that may be the reason this is happening. I am not sure where to set this message as warning or error.
