Confusion on moving datafiles

I have a small file tablespace with multiple datafiles. If i move one of those datafile to another drive, will any session trying to write in that tablespace get unbalanced and result error of datafile being offline due to one datafile being offline in the group? What will happen if the datafile is audit_trail based tablespace considered for movement in database which has audit_trial parameter set to DB,Extended?
