Does Essbase 11.1.2.2.000 install include the Oracle 10g client dll's

I am using sql load rules to load my Essbase (version 11.1.2.2.000) BSO database from an Oracle 11g source.

This process had issues several months ago where the connection was refused often, but not always.  When we changed our ODBC definition from grid scan to hard coded to a single grid, the issue was corrected.

However, the last two days we have had our connection refused several times but not every time again.  My current assumption is that the grid to which we are hard coded is busy and refusing the connection.

My Oracle DBA is telling me that the original issue of using the grid scan technique (which as I understand is best practice in 11g) has been observed before when client software making the sql call to Oracle has the 10g oracle client dll's installed instead of the 11g oracle client.

Howdy, Stranger!
