XSL template with bursting?

After many hours of investigation why bursting process constantly fails, I have figured out that it's related to template type. Then I have also noticed posts on Oracle forums that XSL templates are not supported with XML bursting. Is it true? Why is that?

I find XSL template to be much more effective in terms of performance and stabilitity than eText and in my case only those 2 template types can be used. For example OPP runs for 1m 24s for eText, when it's only 20s for the same XML file (converting to same CSV format). In this case difference is not really problem for users, however this was only run for part of my data. When I am trying to extract all journals for period (around 500MB in XML file) it takes around 30-40 minutes for eText and fails on the end (I
