Open UI, Change Mutliple Records in 8.1.1.9

We are experiencing the same issue that is found in Doc ID 1574052.1 with the exception being that we are in 8.1.1.9 and not 8.1.1.10.  Is there a QF or another solution available for this version?  Thank you in advance.
