is there a way to turnoff the default view of line details when order is queried?

hi ,

we are looking to set as  the default in sales Order screen , not show line detail when you open an order in Oracle.  We can uncheck the Show Line Details box but when we close out, the next time we go in, the box is checked.

Pl advice whether any setup governs the "line detail box" unchecked.
